Peterborough United have offered professional deals to three Apprentices, Sam Gaughran, Danny Andrew and Billy Crook, as the Club prepare for life in the Championship.
The trio, who have been regulars for the Posh reserves as well as the under-18 side, will link in with the first team squad for pre-season training next term.
Central defender Gaughran has captained the reserves this season and Head of Youth Dave Robertson said:
“I am sure the supporters will recall his performance against Celtic in a pre-season friendly. Since then, Sam has continued to progress and has caught the eye of the first team boss Darren Ferguson.”
“Danny Andrew has fantastic energy as a left-back, his main attributes are the quality of his delivery into the box. He has good technical ability, has a very good left foot and has really caught the eye of the first team management.”
“And Billy Crook has fantastic ability in possession of the ball, his range of passing is extremely good and I think he is clever with the ball and what he can do with it.”
