Smith Transfer Listed

Dan Smith looks to have played his last match for Blue Square Premier Club Eastbourne Borough.

The former Plymouth Argyle youngster was transfer-listed following his red card during Boro’s FA Cup defeat at the hands of Ryman League Premier Division Tooting & Mitcham United last month.

Winger Smith was available for the 1-1 draw with Histon on Tuesday night after serving a three-game ban but Manager Garry Wilson did not include him in the squad.

The 20 year old became Boro’s first full-time professional player when he arrived at Priory Lane in the summer but has only started five matches this season. Wilson said:

“Dan is back from his ban but I don’t think he’ll come into the squad. His agent is trying to sort him out with a new Club and apparently has a few things in the pipeline.”
