Southampton’s Luke Shaw could be the subject of a three way tug of war after the Daily Mail linked Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City with the 16 year-old left back.
Arsenal are thought to be in pole position to sign the young full-back after having previously raided the Saint’s for Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
It is thought that Shaw would attract a fee of around £4million despite not yet appearing for the Saints’ first-team, although he was an unused substitute in the third round FA Cup tie with Coventry.
Scouts from several Premier League clubs are expected to check on the youngster tonight when Southampton’s U18s side travel to meet Bolton Wanderers in the FA Youth Cup 4th round.
Shaw is thought to have already agreed terms on a professional deal with Southampton for when he turns 17 in July, but the interest in him could result in a move sooner than that.
