Rushton Joins Newtown On Loan From Wrexham

Wrexham youngster Nicky Rushton has joined Welsh Premier League side Newtown on loan.

A member of Wrexham’s successful Youth Alliance side, the 19-year-old is a second year professional at the Racecourse. He enjoyed a similar loan deal last term scoring five goals from thirty Welsh Premier appearances for Airbus UK.

Rushton who will continue to train with Wrexham during the week joins team-mate Max Penk on loan at Latham Park.

Meanwhile Manager Bernard McNally has released summer signings Ben Evans and Ashley Wells, who both joined from Shrewsbury Town and are returning to the English pyramid.
