Rhodes Up For Player of the Year Award

Huddersfield Town’s Jordan Rhodes has been shortlisted for the npower League 1 Player of the Year Award at the Football League Awards 2012.

Rhodes, who came through Ipswich Town’s Apprenticeship programme in 2008, will be up against Johnnie Jackson of Charlton Athletic and Ched Evans of Sheffield United for the Award.

He won the League Two version of this prize in 2008-09.

This term he has averaged almost a goal a game for the Terriers and has been instrumental in their promotion push.
