Reading Hoping That Star Event Boosts Youth Cup Crowd

Reading first-teamers Simon Church, Jem Karacan, Hal Robson-Kanu and Alex Pearce will be meeting supporters at the Madejski Stadium on Wednesday evening ahead of the Club’s FA Youth Cup clash with West Bromwich Albion.

The players who have all come through Reading’s youth ranks will be at the Club’s Megastore from 5.45pm to meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photo’s.

It is hoped that this event will also help boost the attendance at the Youth Cup game that kicks-off at 7pm.

The Club is hoping that fans will want to see the next generation of Royals as they bid to reach the 5th Round of the competition.

Eammon Dolan’s men go into the game full of confidence after scoring 8 goals and conceding just one in their last two Academy League fixtures.
