Adam Reach has signed a new four-year deal with Middlesbrough.
The 19-year-old who plays at left-back or further forward on the left-wing has been rewarded for his eye-catching start to the season, which included a stunning strike in last month’s 3-2 win over Burnley.
And Manager Tony Mowbray is delighted to have secured the future of the talented youngster.
“He’s a young player who is progressing well and we’re pleased he’s committed his future to us,” said Mowbray.
“He’s done exceptionally well and deserves his contract.”
“We hope he sees this as a place to develop his skills and we see him develop quickly from now on.”
“He’s made an impact in the team this year and we’re hoping he’ll have a lot more exposure to the team as the season unfurls.”
“He’s positive, he’s creative and he can score a goal. He has some attributes we hope to develop and hopefully he will fulfil that potential. If he continues to progress the way he has been, we’ll all be happy.”
