Following on from the successful ‘Northern Careers Event’ Progression 09 – ‘The Southern Careers Event’ will be held at The Madejski Stadium in Reading this Thursday.
Royals stars Marcus Hahnemann and Graham Murty (PFA Community Player of the Year) will be supporting the event alongside World Bob Skeleton Silver Medallist, Adam Pengilly and MP for Reading East Rob Wilson.
The day will again promise to directly introduce Apprentice and Professional athletes to employers, further/higher education or other vocational training programmes, while at the same time throwing down the Olympic gauntlet to those interested in transferring their talents to an Olympic Sport via UK Sport’s Pitch2Podium initiative.
