Hosted at Competitive Edge Live in March, the Pitch2Podium programme, run by UK Sport and the EIS, will be offering male football players who are not successful in gaining a professional contract an opportunity to see if they have the raw talent for success in a targeted Olympic sport.
If you were a scholar at a professional football academy in the last three years, come and test yourself against Britain’s best Olympians and see if you have what it takes to stand on the podium.
Those who show the right potential could go on to represent Great Britain at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016. Testing speed, power and endurance, you may get to see some of our future Olympians in the making!
