Tottenham Hotspur defender Ashley Phillips has joined Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
Phillips, who was named LFE Championship Apprentice of the Season at last April’s EFL Awards, signed for Spurs in the summer of 2023 following an impressive breakthrough campaign with Blackburn Rovers.
The England U19s captain is yet to make a first team appearance for Ange Postecoglou’s side, but is certainly one for the future in north London.
Speaking upon his arrival in Plymouth, Phillips told Argyle TV: “I’m really excited to be here. When Argyle came in for me, I was really drawn to the team so I’m really excited to kick on and see what I can do for the club.”
