Owls Quartet Support Progression

LFE is pleased to announce that Sheffield Wednesday’s Richard Hinds, Mark Beevers, Tommy Spurr and Richard Wood will all be supporting Progression 09 “The Northern Careers Event” by attending on Thursday 26th March.

Speaking on behalf of the Owls back four, spokesman and PFA representative Hinds said:

“As senior players we are only too pleased to support this initiative. In addition to our attendance all our Academy players will be present at the event and having come through a similar system ourselves we all realise that the very nature of football means that not everyone can go on to enjoy a long career as a professional.”

He continued,

“It’s important that we encourage young players to have another vocation. Going into further/higher education or re-training in other areas is something to be commended which is why we are fully supportive of Progression 09.”
