Preston North End Apprentices Daniel Devine and Conor McLaughlin have both been rewarded for their excellent progress at Deepdale with call-ups to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland national squads.
McLaughlin could feature for Northern Ireland in their UEFA European U21 Championship qualifying match with San Marino while central defender Devine will link up with the Republic of Ireland’s U19 squad at a week-long training camp at Bisham Abbey during the next international break.
