Noel Blake Drafts Obita Into England U19 Squad

Reading Apprentice Jordan Obita has been called up to the England U19 squad that takes on Holland this evening at 5:30pm.

The youngster made his debut for the Royals last week in the Carling Cup against Charlton Athletic. Obita will hope to feature for Noel Blake’s men and continue his impressive start to the season.

Obita is not the only youngster from the Madjeski Stadium on International duty. Other former ASE graduates who’ve earned call-ups include:

  • Hal Robson-Kanu – Wales
  • Simon Church – Wales
  • Jake Taylor – Wales U21
  • David Murphy – Ireland U19 (Standby)
