Mukendi Signs For Silkmen

Macclesfield Town have signed 2nd year Apprentice Vinny Mukendi on a two-year professional contract after the youngster impressed Caretaker Manager Gary Simpson.

Mukendi, 18, has shown up well since stepping up from the Reserves and has featured in the Club’s last four matches.

Speaking to the Club’s official website, Mukendi said:

“It’s great to have got myself a contract after breaking into the first team this season. I’m looking forward to the rest of the campaign now and getting as many appearances as I can, as well as scoring a few goals.”

“Every game I play is good experience for me and I want to keep working as hard as I can to keep myself in the team week in week out to show the Manager and the fans what I can do.”

“Having the two years means I can really get on with focussing on doing my best for Macclesfield with confidence that I know where I will be.”
