Exeter City’s Jordan Moore-Taylor has signed a new deal at the League Two club.

City will not reveal the length of the 18-year-old’s contract other than saying it is a “long-term deal”.

The local lad has been with the club since he was 8-years-old. He signed his first professional deal with the club in April and made his debut for the Grecians in the 2-1 Capital One Cup defeat against Crystal Palace in September.

Moore-Taylor who can play at left-back or in the centre of defence has made six appearances for the club this term

Meanwhile his former youth-team colleagues bowed out of the FA Youth Cup last night, going down 3-0 in a Devon derby against Plymouth Argyle.

Striker Tyler Harvey scored twice before midfielder Joshua Hutchinson added a third.

The Pilgrims will travel to Oxford United or Yeovil Town in the second round
