LFE Early Day Motion

The work of LFE has been praised in Parliament following the release of an EDM.

Cross party Members of Parliament have congratulated LFE in the Houses of Parliament following the publication of an Early Day Motion recognising the vital work carried out by the organisation.

MPs from across the political spectrum have put their names to the Early Day Motion which was proposed to the House of Commons on Thursday 26th November by Clive Betts, MP for Sheffield Attercliffe.

The EDM read:

“This House congratulates League Football Education on its success in promoting and enhancing educational and vocational training for apprentice footballers aged 16 to 18 at the 72 Football League clubs.”

“Further congratulates the organisation in achieving framework achievements of 91 per cent, 20 per cent above the national average in the sector.”

“Notes that as one of the leaders in work-based learning in the UK it has provided a vital contribution to the national skills agenda; and encourages funding partners to support the work of the organisation going forward.”
