Leeds United Youngster Joins Shakers

Tom Elliott

Leeds United youngster Tom Elliott is set to join Bury on a three month loan deal.

Elliot, an England Youth international, made a surprise first team appearance for Leeds during the 2006/07 season and became the first United player to make his senior debut for the Club while still at school when appearing as a substitute in the second half of a Championship game against Norwich City at Carrow Road.

The young striker has already had experience of a loan spell at Macclesfield Town while an Apprentice. A regular in the Leeds reserve side, Elliot will now hope to use his current stint at the Shakers as a springboard in to Simon Grayson’s long term plans.

Elliot will be with the Shakers until 19th December and takes squad number 22.
