Leeds Duo Receive International Call-Ups

Two Leeds United youngsters have received international call-ups for England and the Republic of Ireland.

First year Apprentices Daniel Atkinson and Eoghan Stokes are set to represent their countries under-17 sides taking part in the St Georges Park International Tournament.

Goalkeeper Daniel is named in the England Under-17 squad and Eoghan has been called up for the Republic of Ireland Under-17 squad for their friendly match against Azerbaijan in Mayo.

The tournament gets underway at the end of August and runs until 2 September.

Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium and Northampton Town’s Sixfields will entertain England fixtures. Hinckley United will be the main venue for non-England fixtures at the tournament.
