Leicester City youngster Craig King has joined Northampton Town on a month-long loan deal.
Now 20, the forward signed professional terms with the Foxes in 2009 after his Apprenticeship but spent most of last term on loan at Hereford United.
Speaking about the move Northampton Town boss Ian Sampson said:
“Craig is a hardworking player who I have seen play a number of times. He is a bit different to what we have and I think he will be a good addition. He is the sort of player the crowd will take to because of his sheer workrate.”
“He had some decent experience of playing in League Two last season and that will help him.”
“We still have other targets in mind and are working on adding one more to the squad in the next couple of weeks.”
