Kick It Out Celebrates 20 Years

Kick It Out has been making strides for the good of football and all involved for over 20 years and to celebrate the organisation has developed a microsite highlighting key landmarks.

The platform displays articles, stats, iconic images and video to show what impact Kick It Out has had from the beginning as ‘Let’s Kick Racism Out of Football’ in 1993 to now.

Kick It Out has never stopped tackling all forms of discrimination and the microsite is being promoted as a must-use resource and valuable teaching aid for schools and grassroots clubs alike with familiar faces such as Keith Alexander, Zesh Rehman and Rachel Yankey reinforcing its messages.

The history of black footballers, Kick It Out’s ‘Season of Action’, achievements, ongoing challenges, high profile incidents, key breakthroughs and the campaigns which tackle homophobia, equality, inclusion and antisemitism are just some areas of the focus.

The microsite can be accessed by visiting: www.20years.kickitout.org and Kick It Out can be followed across social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
