James Grabs New Opportunity

Now approaching the end of his Apprenticeship with Port Vale, James Beeston is already looking forward to next season.

After receiving the news that he would not be given a professional contract, the Club offered him the opportunity to take a coaching job in the Centre of Excellence.

With the L2 coaching qualification under his belt, after successfully passing as a first year Apprentice, James has undertaken the L3 which he looks set to pass in April.

The youngster, who hails from Newcastle Under Lyme, has been gaining practical experience on familiar ground at the Centre of Excellence throughout his Apprenticeship and his new role as Technical Skills Coach in the Development Centre will see him working with 7-11 year olds.

With his Apprenticeship coming to an end James has his immediate future planned and he has no plans to abandon his education having enrolled on a Sports Nutrition course which is due to start in September.
