Jacko Signs For Shots

Aldershot Town have signed Bristol City striker Marlon Jackson on a one-month loan deal.

The youngster, who came through the ASE programme and signed pro at City last summer, has also had a loan spell at League Two rivals Hereford United earlier this season.

He is Kevin Dillon’s first signing as Shots Manager although he remains keen to add further reinforcements to his squad. Dillon said:

“We have a small squad at the Club and we are looking to bring in two players before Thursday’s deadline with Marlon being the first arrival. It is important to strengthen the squad.”

“I like to have forwards available and have some fire-power too. You have to have competition for places all the time to ensure that players don’t rest on their laurels.”
