Ince Signs Gobern

Oscar Gobern

Milton Keynes Dons Manager Paul Ince has signed Southampton midfielder Oscar Gobern on an initial month-long loan deal.

The 18 year old who was shortlisted for last season’s Apprentice of the Year, is the younger brother of current Dons winger Lewis. He moves into contention for a place in the squad for Saturday’s visit of Wycombe Wanderers.

Of his new arrival, Ince said:

“bq. Oscar’s a good young player but he’s only a young kid so we’re going to have a look at him for a month. He’s got good height and a lovely left foot. He’s been well educated and coached so we’ll see how he goes in the next few weeks. He’s looking to learn and this is a good place for him to do just that.”
