Grimsby Town Pair Go Out On Loan

Grimsby Town have sent youngsters Mark Gray and Nathan Dixon out on loan.

Both join Evo-Stik First Division South Club Spalding United on month-long loan deals.

The duo are graduates of the Club’s ASE programme and signed professional terms at Blundell Park over the summer.

Forward Dixon has made one substitute appearance for the Mariners, while defender Gray is yet to make his first-team debut.

Grimsby Manager Neil Woods told the Grimsby Telegragh:

“We only have Reserve games every three weeks or so now so it’s a good chance for both lads to get some games under their belt.”

“It’s not a reflection of how they are doing because we are pleased with how well they are coming on.”

“But going out and playing senior football is good – especially for younger players, we’ve seen that in the past.”
