Former Tranmere ‘Keeper Coughlin Agrees Terms With Wrexham

Former Tranmere Rovers Apprentice Andrew Coughlin has signed for Wrexham.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper was on trial at Wrexham after being released by Tranmere over the summer.

Coughlin played the second half of Wrexham’s pre-season friendly win at Aberystwyth just over a week ago and featured last Saturday in the Dragons win at Vauxhall Motors.

And now he appears to have agreed terms with the North Wales Club after originally being offered a deal after the Aberystwyth fixture.

“Made up to have signed for Wrexham,” Coughlin told his followers on Twitter.

“…great setup and great set of lads! Looking forward to the season now #Promotion”

Coughlin made two senior appearances for Tranmere last season.
