Former Walsall Apprentice Peter Doran joined Blue Square Premier Club Altrincham after turning down the chance to remain in the Principality Welsh Premier League with Technogroup Welshpool.
The midfielder, who came through the AASE programme at Walsall, was initially given a professional deal with the Saddlers but following his release he has roamed the non-league circuit appearing for Technogroup Welshpool, Burscough, GAP Connah’s Quay, Caernarfon Town and Vauxhall Motors.
He made 19 appearances for Technogroup scoring just once before opting to try his luck at Moss Lane.
Doran has also appeared for Leigh RMI and Worcester City.
