Oxford United’s youngsters bowed out of the FA Youth Cup to Basingstoke Town after a dramatic last minute winner on Wednesday night.
The U’s had led 2 – 1 with just 15 minutes remaining and were made to pay for a host of missed chances as the away side completed a smash and grab in the dying minutes.
Elsewhere Torquay United, Rushden & Diamonds, Mansfield Town and Wrexham all safely progressed to the next round while York City will hope to emerge victorous from Friday evenings clash at Gateshead.
