Oldham Athletic striker Tom Eaves has committed his long-term future to the Club by signing a five-year contract.
The teenager had initially stalled on the League One Club’s two-year offer, however, with a longer deal on the table the youngster was happy to put pen-to-paper.
Eaves insists his decision had nothing to do with money but more the long-term security for his career.
“I am happy to have signed the contract and can’t wait for pre-season to start,” he told the Club website.
“I am delighted the Club has had the confidence to give me a five-year contract and I will be looking to progress further.”
