Deadline Looming For Apprentice Of The Year Nominations

Deadline Looming For Apprentice Of The Year Nominations

The deadline for nominations for the LFE Apprentice of the Year Award at the English Football League Awards is looming

Nominations will be considered on a divisional basis, with one winner per division, receiving national recognition at the 2016-17 EFL Awards.

The deadline to nominate a player for the Apprentice of the Year Award, which aims to recognise on and off the pitch excellence, is 8 February 2017.

This will be the twelfth annual awards evening run by the EFL and will take place on Sunday 9th April 2017 at The Hilton on Park Lane, London.

To nominate a player, please click through to the EFL awards website and online entry form

This award aims to recognise outstanding young professionals at EFL clubs who excel both on and off the pitch. Players registered as a first-year or second-year scholar, or as a first-year professional (if he started on an Apprenticeship contract and then converted at 17 to a pro contract) are eligible for this award.

The record of the player in all competitions since he became an apprentice will be taken into account, alongside his education attainment, disciplinary record and any other outstanding achievements. Please complete all sections of the nomination form fully, providing as much information as you can to support the player. Any incomplete forms will not be considered.

Please read all the instructions on how to complete the form carefully.

If you have any questions regarding this Award please do not hesitate to contact Pauline Hothersall via email [email protected] or by phone on 01772 325814
