Day 48 – Local Derby Looms

Friday and everyone had their mind on the game against Blackpool. We were out in the morning for our normal 6-a-sides and as usual, they were competitive and nobody wanted to lose. That’s a really good quality we have in our team, and something Jamie had encouraged. We never want to lose no matter what, whether it’s a game of head tennis or a match on the Saturday. I did particularly well this morning making a number of good saves. Including a couple with my face, again! It was becoming quite handy my big ugly mug, finally it was useful for something! After the session it was back to the digs for a chill out before the game tomorrow.
