Today we went to see the knee specialist. After looking at the scans and examining the knee himself the specialist came to the conclusion that he wasn’t sure what exactly was wrong with the knee. But in his opinion he said that he thinks that there is nothing to worry about and it is just a question of time before it settles down completely and I can resume back to running then progressing to full training. Although he thought that there was nothing to worry about he did advise that we seek another opinion in the form of a vascular surgeon who specialises in the study of blood vessels. I have full confidence in the opinion of the knee specialist we have seen earlier today because having been examined by him before for previous injuries, his diagnosis and advice has been spot on therefore I have no reason to doubt him and I’m now therefore in good spirits!!
