We had a day off on the Thursday so we went to Hampden Park for a stadium tour. It was really interesting and a really beautiful stadium. The tour lasted about an hour and we visited the changing rooms, the underground, and the press boxes, the indoor warm area and the place where the trophies are presented at finals. After the tour we spent an hour or so in the Scottish National Football Museum looking at many fascinating pieces of footballing memorabilia. There were also a couple of table-football tables dotted around so I took the opportunity to wipe the floor with Conchie beating him 5-0. There was also Playstations and Xbox’s with Pro Evo and Fifa on. I was having withdrawal symptoms not being able to play on them in the digs. Just as I was about to get on one with Adam Barton, the coaches popped there heads round the corner and said it was time to go, Gutted! We were given the afternoon off to do what we please. A few of the lads went into the centre of Glasgow to do some shopping, but I decided to get some extra kip in preparation for the game tomorrow.
