Set off from home to Manchester airport at 6am and got the flight to New York at 11.30am British time. Arrived at NYC at 2.15pm U.S time and had a long wait due to the weather so I didn’t catch my flight to Charlotte until 1am in the morning. Mates picked me up at the airport and then I had a two-hour drive back to Banner Elk, got in at 5am in the morning, knackered.
