Dale Jennings Scoops League One Apprentice Award

Tranmere’s Dale Jennings has been named as the Apprentice of the Year for League One at the Football League Awards in London.

The Rovers 18 year old wide-man pipped Southampton’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and MK Dons’ George Baldock to win the honour at a ceremony at The Brewery Hotel.

Jennings, who signed a professional deal at Prenton Park earlier this term, has scored five times in 21 league appearances this season.

His goals include a stunning strike at Bristol Rovers and a wonderful solo effort against Plymouth Argyle.
