Dale Centre Of Excellence Receives Pledge

Trevor Reed presents the cheque to Director Andrew Kelly

Rochdale Centre of Excellence Parents Association handed over a cheque for £100,000 to Club Director Andrew Kelly in a pledge to donate £20,000 a year over the next five years.

The sum, raised by the Association and presented by Trevor Reed, goes towards the day-to-day running of the Centre of Excellence and improving the facilities for the youngsters in Tony Ellis’ charge.

Despite tough times the everyone involved is working extremely hard to raise funds. Dale Director Andrew Kelly said;

“This money will go towards giving our Centre of Excellence the best platform for the children in pursuit of their footballing dreams. It is a tremendous effort on behalf of the parents, families and friends to raise the kind of sums needed every year.”

“Costs increase all the time and while this is a significant sum, the Centre is always looking for other forms of donation and sponsorship.”
