Colchester United’s U18’s have made a good start to their pre-season matches beating local college side Brightlingsea 6-0 on Saturday.
A double from Ross Gilfedder and strikes from Alex Gilbey, Gus Mafuta, Drey Wright and Freddie Ladapo ensured the U’s enjoyed a comfortable victory over a side managed by former U’s favourites Mickey Cook and Adrian Webster.
