Huddersfield Town Apprentice Aiden Chippendale has been added to the Terriers first-team squad.
The second-year Apprentice has been handed the number 34 shirt by manager Lee Clark and joined his senior colleagues on the coach for the trip down to Colchester United last weekend.
The youngster was ultimately not involved as Town lost out to a solitary strike at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, however, the left-sided midfielder has made an impressive start to the season, netting three goals in just five starts for the Under-18s a fact that has not gone un-noticed by Clark. Speaking to the Club’s official website, he said:
“I have been impressed whenever I have watched Aiden play and I have had some excellent reports from both Development Coach Paul Stephenson and Academy Manager Graham Mitchell. He did very well in our behind-closed-doors friendly against Celtic during midweek and this is a good opportunity for him”.
