Buckle Wants Thomson Stay

Torquay United Manager, Paul Buckle has expressed his wish to see Southampton youngster Jake Thomson stay with the Gulls

Trinidad & Tobago international Thomson, now 20, completed a successful three-month loan following Tuesday’s 1-1 draw at Barnet but Buckle is hopeful that a deal can be agreed which will see the Soca Warrior stay at Plainmoor until the end of the campaign.

He said:

“I have spoken to Jake and he wants to stay, now he is back speaking to Southampton boss Alan Pardew. I have spoken to Alan, so now it’s a case of just waiting on the outcome.”
