Boyce Heads To Trinity

Former Doncaster Rovers Apprentice, Andrew Boyce has joined Blue Square North Club Gainsborough Trinity following the demise of UniBond League Premier Division, King’s Lynn.

The move which has delighted Trinity Chairman Peter Swann comes after Lynn’s players had their playing registration’s released following the Linnets financial meltdown.

Swann who has fought off fierce competition to sign the 20 year old, said:

“We’ve signed one of their best players, a lot of Clubs were interested in signing him.

“We’ve signed him on a contract, but we are not paying him silly money. We have got him because he wanted to play for us and work with Brian Little.”

Boyce is cup-tied so will not feature in Trinity’s FA Trophy match at Southport on Saturday.
