Sheffield United Manager Danny Wilson has praised the impact of young centre-back Harry Maguire.
Maguire, who is still only 19 years-old, was a key member of the Blades youth-team in last year’s thrilling run to the FA Youth Cup final.
He made his first-team debut at the back end of last term and has made 50 appearances this season, his first as a professional.
“He’s just gone above all expectation. He’s taken everything in his stride,” Wilson told BBC Radio Sheffield.
“What’s pleased me is the way he’s never flustered by anything. If he loses a header or a race he just gets on with it.”
He continued: “He plays like a true pro, a senior pro even and at that age that’s hugely commendable.”
The Blades currently sit second in the League One table, four points above City rivals Sheffield Wednesday. They could be promoted this weekend if they win at MK Dons and Wednesday lose at home to Carlisle United.
