Blackburn Rovers Sign Tumwa

Blackburn Rovers have signed former Watford defender Aaron Tumwa on a one-year contract.

The 19-year-old who can play left back and centre-half was an Apprentice at Vicarage Road before signing professional terms with the Hornets last summer.

He was released by Watford in June and has spent most of the summer on trial with Rovers, featuring for their Under-21 side.

Tumwa, who had a loan spell at non-league Wealdstone when at Watford, will now hope to make the breakthrough at Ewood Park.
