Charlton Athletic youngster Liam Bellamy has signed for Ryman League Premier Division Club Cray Wanderers on work experience.
The right-sided midfielder, who has been playing in central midfield for the Addicks Under-18’s, has embarked on his second spell of the year away from Sparrows Lane.
Bellamy enjoyed a short spell at Merstham, scoring in his final game for the Club in a Cup clash at Woking. And he will be hoping to conjure up a win for his new side when the Wands travel to Bognor Regis Town on Saturday.
Elsewhere, fellow Addicks Academy team mate Harry Pell has been enjoying a similar work experience spell at Hastings United.
Bellamy and Pell are two of five second-year Apprentices enjoying a taste of senior football away from Sparrows Lane.
Tamer Tuna and Carl Jenkinson are at Woking and Welling United respectively while also in the Blue Square South, Yado Mambo has been plying his trade for Staines Town.
