Nine apprentices will be hoping for glory after The Football League announced its shortlists for their annual awards dinner which will take place at The Brewery, London, on Sunday 16th March 2014.
The Football League Awards celebrate on and off pitch achievements across The League’s 72 clubs, with categories ranging from ‘the Family Club of the Year’ to ‘Goal of the Year’. However on a night that will also see the coronation of The Football League’s Player of the Year, nine youngsters, who are just starting out in the game are in with a chance of national recognition for their efforts as apprentices.
