Apprentice of the Month – October 2009

Congratulations go to Edward Adjei of Peterborough United as October 2009 Apprentice of the Month.

Edward is a regular in the Youth and Reserve teams and following a series of excellent performances has scored seven goals this season in two Reserve fixtures and one Youth team fixture.

In addition Edward has excelled in the classroom showing a mature and productive approach to the completion of the educational elements of the ASE framework.

At a very difficult time in his personal life Edward showed great maturity and strength of character to get through some particularly tough circumstances and was commended by Head of Youth, Dave Robertson for his courage and bravery:

“Edward’s progression off the field has reflected in his excellent progression on the field and this is why I would recommend him for the award after dealing with his adversity in a professional manner.”
