Almond Returns To Barrow

Blackpool youngster Louis Almond has re-joined Blue Square Premier club Barrow for a third time on loan.

Almond made his first-team debut for the Seasiders while still an Apprentice during the 2009-10 campaign in the Carling Cup and has also gained valuable league experience on loan at Cheltenham Town.

Joining Barrow on loan for the first time in January 2011, the 20-year-old scored four goals in as many games before extending his deal for a further two months.

He linked up with Barrow again in time for the start of the last campaign before being recalled to Blackpool at the beginning of January 2012 to switch to another Conference Premier side, Lincoln City, also on loan until the end of the season.

Almond, who signed a new one-year deal with the Tangerines in the summer, will remain at Holker Street until 1 January 2013.
