Ademeno Looks Set To Move

Charles Ademeno looks set to leave Crawley Town with Manager Steve Evans admitting his days at the Club appear to be numbered.

The 21 year old, who has previously been through the ASE programme at Southend United, has been attracting admiring glances from a number of Football League Clubs and Evans says his performance against Cambridge United over the weekend prompted further interest.

Speaking to the Club website, he said:

“I must admit I do not hold out much hope that Charlie will be with us for Saturday’s home match with Altrincham especially given his performance against Cambridge United and considering the talent the boy has.”

“As a Manager who has his team fighting for the play-offs then I obviously want him here with us for the remainder of the season but even I have to accept that perhaps his outstanding performances have taken this out of my hands.”

“I took a couple of telephone calls on Sunday in relation to the boy and two further Football League Clubs have been on the phone this morning so things are starting to progress to the point where I can see him moving on sooner rather than later, he is a special talent.”

“There is no doubt Charlie will play at a much higher level, he has blistering pace, great feet and scores goals, those ingredients are sought after. It would be fair to say we are in talks regarding Charlie with two specific Clubs whilst two others have requested they be kept in touch with any developments.”
