Adam Leaves Barnsley

Barnsley striker Jamil Adam has had his contract with the club cancelled by mutual consent.

The 19-year-old has failed to feature in manager Mark Robins first-team squad this season and made only two substitute appearances during the previous campaign.

Adam, who made his first-team debut for the Tykes as a 17-year-old when stepping off the bench in the FA Cup defeat at West Ham in January 2009, has made two other substitute appearances for Barnsley.
