Accrington Stanley Sign 110 Percent Man Tom Bender

Accrington Stanley have signed Colchester Utd youngster Tom Bender on a season long loan deal.

Still only 18 years-old, Bender operates as a left-back or central defender made his U’s debut aged 16-years-old and is a Welsh youth international.

He is known for his committed style and has pledged that it will be no different for him away from his parent club.

“The Accrington fans can always expect to see 110% effort from me and nothing less,” said Bender.

“I’m never going to shy out of a challenge or anything like that. I’m not saying I’m a dirty player but I don’t mind throwing myself about a bit if it’s got to be done.”

“If I’ve got to put my body on the line to save a goal then I’ll do that and I’m sure that over time the fans will see that.”
