LFE’s Goal of the Month returns for the seventh time this season, consisting of eight more impressive efforts by apprentices from across the Academy leagues during April.
The goal that receives the highest number of votes will be added to the Goal of the Season competition alongside previous 2017-18 Goal of the Month winners Matt Mayes (Portsmouth), Caolan Boyd-Munce (Birmingham City), Ellis Chapman (Lincoln City), Jordan Doherty (Sheffield United), Alex Hunt (Sheffield Wednesday) and Dylan Sumner (Blackpool).
Two entries from Lincoln City are included in the latest instalment, with Charlie West and Jon Smith converting almost identical volleys, while Cambridge United duo Prince Mutswunguma and Joe Neal go head-to-head having found the net with impressive strikes of their own.
An outrageous effort straight from kick-off by Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder Michael Agboola is in the mix, as well as a terrific hit from Plymouth Argyle’s Klaidi Lolos.
Meanwhile, a tremendous solo run from Doncaster Rovers first-year apprentice Rieves Boocock makes the cut, as does Arvin Appiah after the Nottingham Forest and England Under-17 international finished off a jinking run with a curling shot from the edge of the area.
Voting will remain open until noon on 16 May. You can vote for your favourite goal via our online poll or via Twitter using the hashtag attached to each goal.
