Essential cookies

Some cookies are essential for the operation of our website. For example, some cookies ensure our contact forms work correctly throughout the site, and on the Progression Opportunities Board page a cookie is used to define a new browsing session for each user of the page. If a visitor opts to disable cookies, they may not be able to contact us using our forms and some elements of the Opportunities Board may not work correctly..

Functionality cookies

LFE use functionality cookies to enhance services, such as allowing users to watch videos, answer Goal of the Month polls and to track the usage of our website.

First Party cookies

LFE use Google Analytics to track website visitor statistics, including the number of site visits. Google Analytics is also used to track visitor behaviour, allowing us to identify effective and popular pages and develop ways to improve the website’s content and user experience.

Third Party cookies

LFE also use and allow third parties to serve cookies on our website.

We use YouTube to embed videos on the website, including our Goal of the Month videos.

We also use Google Maps embeds on the contact pages of our website.

LFE use social sharing buttons within the News section of the site, these allow readers to tweet, share and like our news articles on Twitter and Facebook. We also use a subscribe button within our articles to allow users to sign up to our email marketing list.

Tracking users who open our emails

LFE use email marketing software to record when users open our marketing emails. Our emails may include a campaign unique “web beacon pixel” to let us know when a campaign is opened and to allow us to verify and see link clicks within the email.

We may use this information to assess which of our email campaigns are the most interesting to our contacts and to identify users who do not open our emails. The pixel is deleted when the email is deleted.
